As we are servicing the needs of the College, we are always looking at possibilities to utilise the auditorium to recoup some of the cost of this fantastic facility. But we are not just “in it for the money”. The concern for social justice and equality has played no small part in making Belvedere College what it is today and we try to reflect this in the theatre’s programming during the time the college does not need the auditorium.

Artistically, the theatre is at cutting-edge of the cultural life in Dublin – the resident Crash Ensemble is amongst the most highly regarded contemporary music bodies in the country and featured to critical acclaim in RTE’s Living Music Festival in February. Last year’s Fringe production of “The Bull” sent ripples through Dublin’s theatrical world - as well as Belvedere.
