First built in 1775, Belvedere House was the original school house for Belvedere College. James Joyce, who attended the college from 1893 till 1898, wrote about the building in his autobiographical novel, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man.
Refurbished in 2014, Belvedere House features several large reception rooms which are now available for hire. With various possible configurations, the rooms can accommodate approximately 90 people seated, and 100 standing.
